The Good - Johnathan Ball Exhibit
Twenty eight year old Johnathon Ball is the youngest artist to be represented by the Liss Gallery at 140 Yorkville Avenue although he has commissions all over North America.
He met with gallery collectors and clients on the opening night showcasing his collection of photographic works and larger works on canvas.
His inspiration comes from the iconic actors of the 1950's and 1960's. Large canvases depict Marlon Brando, James Dean, Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen. You could say Ball is a wise old soul in a young mans body-fascinated by the past. This night was also the 2nd annual Whiskey Bourbon tasting hosted by Matt Jones.
