Sam's New Music

'Silenced', a series of benefit concerts focusing on raising awareness, and bringing funding to the anti youth violence movement in Toronto, launched its first of several shows on February 19th, 2009, at the Phoenix Concert Theatre. The all-Canadian bill featured Captive Grooves, Sixes & Sevens, Basia Lyjak, and Monday Rose, and proceeds from ticket, T-shirt and CD sales went towards charities supporting anti-violence initiatives for youth - a wonderful night of music and activism.
