As part of Contact Toronto Photography festival 2008, "Memories in Motion" was an exhibition documenting the surroundings and
events in the artist's life, from hanging out with friends and attending music festivals to political commentary captured in images of the city. The show secures the movement of the moment to speak to the audience. As a visual artist and musicologist, Kalmplex has been exploring her craft since the age of four, using such artistic mediums as digital and film photography,video, painting and spinning records.
