2008 July > Tenth Annuanl Sante Wine Festival The 10th Annual Santé, Toronto International Wine Festival featured fabulous wines from Australia and California in Bloor-Yorkville area venues from May 5th to 10th. I was lucky enough to attend two of the events: Landmark Australia and California Crusin’.
The Australian seminar revealed unique and wonderful signature wines from the 60-plus wineries down under. While California Crusin’ was held at the Royal Ontario Museum, where Californian wines were featured in the architecturally exciting Michael Lee Chin Crystal Façade. Gourmet foods from top Toronto restaurants and premium cheeses accompanied the wines from regions such Napa, Sonoma, and Santa Cruz. www.santewinefestival.com
