You may say they gathered here today to celebrate the best in Canadian comic creations over the past year...but I would say they came to have fun, share great art and their love for the sequential art medium. Not to mention Superman celebrating his 71st birthday! Hooray, to all the great creators in Canada (and worldwide) and a big thanks to James Waley for his hard work in making these awards possible and for inviting me in to join the fun. It's an honour to be a part of the art-world. The world's definitely a better place thanks to comic books!
