At the LGCA award “Grants Day” ceremony, Counterpoint Board members and other members of the Gay and Lesbian communities were greeted by a traditional duo. Since 1980, The Lesbian & Gay Community Appeal Foundation has helped fund many organizations from the community in the areas of Arts & Culture, Youth Focussed and Social Service Projects.
