Collecting warm clothing donations for Project Winter Survival were Andrea Ramirez and Lorne Simon

BULL'S-EYE Winter Barbecue Event

SNAP was invited to the BULL'S-EYE Barbecue Sauce Outdoor Party at Yonge and Dundas Square, on January 13th in support of Project Winter Survival. I met Kraft BBQ Expert Julian Franklin who was busy demonstrating some winter grilling techniques and handing out recipes with his BBQ team. Quickly a line formed to sample the smoky barbecue served up by the BULL'S-EYE Saucy Ladies plus ride the mechanical bull for those who were brave enough to try it. More importantly, BULL'S-EYE also encouraged those who were daring enough to donate their hats, scarves and mitts for Project Winter Survival at this great event. Happily, Lorne Simon and Andrea Ramirez were overwhelmed with the response and number of donations to the worthy cause. Thanks to everyone who came out to donate and you too can still help by visiting www.projectwintersurvival.org
