Haiti Emergency Benefit Relief Concert
Kay Morris Foundation in collaboration with Light and Life Ministries presented an emergency benefit concert to raise funds for disaster relief in aid of Haiti, which has been devastated by the earthquake. The U.N has described the disaster in Haiti as the worst it has ever had to deal with, as hunger and homelessness strikes Haiti. To this end, some Artists in the Gospel community came together to raise funds and do what they can to help. Some of the artists who performed at the event were Sharon Riley and Faith Chorale, Cora Reid- Russell, Zamar, Jermaine Cowan, Jeffery Peters and many more. The benefit was a great success as $7000 was collected and the church donated another $3000, so all together they raised a grand total of $10,000 which will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross in support of Haiti.
