The 11th Annual Martin Luther King Celebration
The BBPA, EFFCC & FAY Presented the 11th Annual Martin Luther King Celebration on Saturday Jan.16th, at the Mc Vety Conference Centre. The theme for this year's event was "The Dream Resides In You." Hosted by radio personality Rudy Blair of 680 News, the evening was incredibly motivational with speakers such as Hamlin Grange: Former TV Host, Journalist, Entrepreneur; and Justice Betty: Young Author, Motivational Speaker, Humanitarian, Founder/Producer of "I Have A Dream, Canada". Canadian beauty and special guest artist Naomi Striemer performed hits from her new album such as "I Believe". Other artists in attendance included: TC3-Toronto Children Concert Choir, Cora Ried, Gifted student Luke Bannis, Lyricist Jesly Okuefuna, Ontario Conference Drum Corp, Trumpeter Dave Brown, interpretive dancer Miranda Singh and many others. All those in attendance were welcome to meet the dignitaries and connect with significant people in our community who are willing to share their dreams.
