Pizza Pizza presents $200,000 cheque to Children’s Miracle Network

To celebrate its Slices for Smiles fundraising efforts in 2009, Pizza Pizza Ltd. hosted a special pizza party at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) on Tuesday, January 12th. Attendees included children from the hospital, representatives from Pizza Pizza and Children’s Miracle Network, and Carlton the Bear from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Pizza Pizza restaurants across Canada, including the Alberta-based Pizza 73 banner, have been working hard all year to rally local support for Children’s Miracle Network and its member hospitals across Canada, resulting in a total donation of $200,000. Representatives from Pizza Pizza presented the cheque to Children’s Miracle Network at the pizza party. Thanks to everyone that made this possible!
