Camp Jumoke 7th Annual Bowl-A-Thon
Camp Jumoke’s 7th Annual Bowl-A-Thon was held on Saturday February 13th and everyone had a ‘ball’ for a great cause! Camp Jumoke (pronounced joo-MOH-keh) is a non-profit, charitable organization. Through numerous events planned throughout the year, children with sickle cell disease (an inherited and disabling blood disorder) can attend camp at no cost to their family. The event featured "Turtle Bowl", "Ten Pin" and "Cosmic Bowling". This year’s Bowl-A-Thon was held in hopes to send 36 children to camp and raised $5,000 on the day of the event, with more pledges yet to be collected.
