Scotiabank Branch celebrates 100 years!
The Scotiabank Queen and Church Branch (79 Queen Street East) celebrated with community members, branch staff, and Scotiabank executives their 100th anniversary on Friday February 19th. A 100 year commitment to the downtown Toronto neighbourhood began on this day in 1910 when the branch first opened its doors! The beautiful branch is a historically significant building in the downtown neighbourhood, and designated as a City of Toronto Heritage Building. Guests were treated to a cake cutting ceremony, free food and drink, and a customer appreciation give-away. Thanks to branch manager Tracy Inoue, for being our host and inviting us to join in their centennial celebration!
